I have a Dish DVR 522 and I wish to record my events to a DVD. However, my DVR is nowhere near a computer. There is a DVD Player in my TV. How can I record Events to a Blank DVD?

I tried putting the Output jacks on the DVR and the satellite to the imput jacks on the DVD recorder, it still isn't working. What am I doing wrong? Are there other cables not plugged in right or something?

I curretnly have a DirecTV receiver with TiVo. I want to get HD TV but it has to have the TiVo function. I'll want to record the shows in HD. I know there are DVR's now that can record to DVD but is there a DVR that can record HDTV to DVDs? A HDTV DVR DVD Recorder?

I have the DirecTV DVR and I want to save some of the clips I’ve TiVoed onto DVD or just save them onto CD, how can I do this?

I am going to be doing a satelite course for school and want to record the classes. The way I see it, I have 3 options: DVR, DVD recorder, or PC capture/ record.
I’m not sure exactially how I’ll be getting the signal, but it will be either RCA or standard TV. I don’t have cable, so I can’t get a DVR that way.
Which one should I get? Also, any info (recommended product, where can I get it, $$$?) would be appreciated!
Also, where can I get which ever you are reccomending?
