Have directv and want to add a dvr?

I want to add a directv dvr to my systems. I would rather have a non-tivo one. If its a rcvr-dvr combo can i swap directv from the rcvr to the new dvr
the cards from the old rvcr to the dvr can i swap them?

If you have two DVR systems in a home (i.e one in an upstairs bedroom and one in the downstairs living room), if you record something in one room, will it come on the other Verizon DVR system?
