Making the choice between satellite and cable TV has created a problem for many customers these days. Most are familiar with the old-school cable TV, but have become intrigued by the offers coming from satellite TV companies. What has made some people switch are the many benefits of satellite TV, such as a DVR. These extras are something they haven’t been able to enjoy with their traditional cable television operator.

I know playstation has something called Playtv to do this in europe, but that doesnt work here. Plus i want to use it with direct tv, and Playtv uses national digital broadcast in Europe. Is there some kind of easy software i can download to my ps3 to give it the ability to record television from my direct tv reciever.

Becoming the number one Satellite company in the world with more than 16 million customers was not an instant accomplishment for DirecTV. It required a lot of time spent listening to customer’s desires and keeping in touch with the continuous innovation in satellite technology. They are ranked above all Cable TV providers in Customer Service, so obviously they have done a great job. By the end of the year it is estimated that the consumer base will increase by one million. I don’t get how they did that. They are doing it through fantastic deals and cutting edge satellite technology.
