The brand name is Phillips. The instructions provided say to use an a/v cable from the entertainment system to the cable box(Comcast). Will that work on Hi-Def channels? I’m going to use an HDMI hookup for the DVD upconverter, but is there any other way to have the theater speaker, surround effect while watching cable TV?
It is a HTS3544 5.1 Channel entertainment system.
I have an HD cable box, but there doesn’t seem to be anyway to run the HDMI cable to the Cable box. Another option given in the instructions is a coaxial the home theater receiver to the cable box.
