I have a scientific atlanta explorer 8300hd cable box/dvr recorder. Lately the series that I have set to record aren’t recording. Up until the moment the show comes on it’s still highlighted in red showing that it will record, but when the show comes on it doesn’t. If I try to just push the record button it pops up on the informatio bar (at the bottom) that it’s recording, but there’ no indication on the box that it is, it’s not highlighted red anymore on the menu guide, and it’s no in my list of recordings. How do I fix this? I’m getting aggravated. I missed Big Brother last night and the first 20 mins of Medium tonight because of this stupid crap.
I just wanted to add, that no, there aren’t two things trying to record at once. I have no clue why it’s messing up. I suppose I will end up having to call Time Warner
Nope, haven’t run out of room either. I’ve only used 6% and at one point I deleted everything.
