Directv’s wireless digital services emanate from their fleet of satellites orbiting earth. Digital satellite signals are transmitted to the satellites from programming providers where they are digitized and projected back to residential and business antennas and on through the receivers where they are processed into either standard or high definition (HD) resolution format and then onto the television screen for subscriber viewing pleasure.
